Let's begin our story about bees, beekeepers and honey. The bees are small flying insects. The man has tamed bees and has forced them to work for itself. The quantity of bees in one family of bees can be about 60-70 thousand insects. It happens in the summer, when many plants blossom. In the winter period the quantity of bees decreases up to 20-25 thousand.
The life of bees is organized on a high level. Queen bee plays the main role in family. She postpones up to 2000 eggs daily. Queen bee is coupled with drones, which do not work. From economic reasons, drones are expelled from beehive and perish in the beginning of the winter period.
Worker bees have many specialities. Nectariferous bees - most numerous part of family. They fly on territory around of a beehive in radius of 5 kilometers. They collect flower pollen and nectar from flowers of plants. Nectariferous bees can collect till 10-12 kg of honey per day. They fly in a beehive and fill in waxen cells by honey.
The part of bees is engaged in construction of waxen cells. But frequently beekeepers make artificial frameworks with cells for bees. The natural wax is used for this purpose. It is the good help.
Other working bees close cells by wax. Some bees give milk to a small insects. There are bees, which carry out a role of the guards. They do not miss another's bees and other insects in the beehive. There are bees, which wave wings to air space inside a beehive.
Now we shall talk about honey. There is a different honey. It differs on colour, taste and aroma. The bees collect nectar from various flower plants. The name of honey depends on it. There are following grades of honey: flower honey, meadow honey, lime honey, mountain honey, wood honey, garden honey etc. At an exhibition many grades of honey by the beekeepers from Russia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan were submitted. The visitors "World Of Honey And Health" exhibitions tried on taste all grades of honey. Then they made purchase. Please look at some images.
